Dr. George is a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist accredited by the Accreditation Council of Gynecologic Endoscopy in advanced gynecologic endoscopy. His practice has been focused on advanced gynecologic endoscopy since 1988. As director of gynecologic endoscopy at the Washington Hospital Center since 1992, he has been a practitioner and teacher of the art.  

His surgical expertise includes thousands of advanced procedures since 1991. Cases include laparoscopic and hysteroscopic treatment of fibroids, endometriosis, adenomyosis, pelvic pain, ectopic pregnancy and all categories of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery for benign disease. 

He has received several awards for teaching including the CREOG award on two occasions. As an expert in gynecologic endoscopy, he has directed teaching courses for practicing gynecologists, residents and students. Under his directorship, the Washington Hospital Center offers a one year fellowship in gynecologic endoscopy. He lectures locally regionally and internationally.
